Ms Marianne Van Lancker

Marianne Van Lancker works as policy officer for internationalisation and societal outreach at the department of Public Health and Primary Care. Marianne studied Political and Social Sciences at Ghent University. After graduating and an internship at the European Commission, she worked as parliamentary assistant and as advisor for the Minister of the Flemish Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports and Brussels. She went on to become part of the team of the Ministry of Education responsible for the Belgian EU Presidency. She returned to Ghent University as project manager of an EU funded FP7 collaborative research project. At ICRH she provides support for a number of (inter)national research projects.
