The Global Early Adolescent Study - A worldwide investigation into how gender norms evolve and inform a spectrum of health outcomes in adolescence
The Global Early Adolescent Study (GEAS) aims at understanding the factors in early adolescence that predispose young people to subsequent sexual health risks and that conversely contribute to healthy sexuality so as to provide the information needed to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes.
Project ongoing Adolescent and youth health Reproductive rights
CERCA II: A post-hoc process analysis of the CERCA intervention
The FP7-funded intervention research project CERCA (Community-Embedded Reproductive health Care for Adolescents in Latin-America) aimed to improve global knowledge about how health systems could be more responsive to the changing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) needs of adolescents.

Attitudes towards holebisexuality among adolescents living and/or studying in Ghent
To obtain knowledge and insight that contributes to the development of an intervention which enables adolescents (14 to 18 years old) – living and/or studying in Ghent - to discuss sexual diversity and which adds to a positive change in attitudes towards holebisexuality.

CERCA, Community-embedded reproductive health care for adolescents in Latin America
CERCA aims to contribute to the global knowledge about how health systems could be more responsive to the sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents and by extension to the other health needs of the community. A community based participatory action research method will be applied. The consortium will develop and test a model of community-embedded interventions. The research is conducted in Bolivia, Ecuador and Nicaragua.

Frame of Reference in SGBV Prevention Against and Among Young Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Unaccompanied Minors in the European Reception & Asylum Sector (SENPERFORTO)
Applying a Community Based Participatory Research Approach, Senperforto aims to enhance the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in the European Reception and Asylum sector by the development of a European Frame of Reference for Prevention of SGBV in this sector. In 2010 we first conducted a Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) Survey on SGBV experience, prevention and response among both professionals and young asylum seeking residents in different reception facilities in each of the 8 partner countries.
