Anke

Anke Vandenberghe is scientific collaborator and part of the Gender & Violence Team at the International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH). She is an active general practitioner and part of a multidisciplinary team at the Health Centre Lokeren. And an active member of the Jong Domus Community, a group of young GPs who, in addition to their professional activities, volunteer for developments within primary healthcare.
As a GP, Anke is driven to help people with her skills and knowledge. Her main goal is to provide holistic and patient-centered care based on evidence-based medicine. In addition, she is very interested in scientific research within sexual and reproductive health. At the ICRH Anke will contribute to the research and optimization of the approach of sexual violence in Belgium. Within Jong Domus, she is working on several small projects and hopes to work on many more projects concerning sexual and reproductive health.
