Mr Matthew Chersich
Visiting Professor

Matthew Chersich completed medical school at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, followed by post-graduate studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and doctoral studies at the University of Ghent, Belgium. He has international research and policy experience through working for the International Centre for Reproductive Health in Mombasa Kenya, WHO and the Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Research Institute, South Africa. He has a research background in reproductive health and HIV, but is currently focused on climate change and health. He hold the post of a Visiting Professor at Ghent University and a Research Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand
