International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation

6 February: it’s International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation #EndFGM.

Today, 6 February, it’s International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation #EndFGM. Today is dedicated to call for increased, concerted and global action to end FGM and fully uphold the human right of all women and girls. Currently, one of the most worrying trends concerning FGM is it’s medicalization.
