March 8th International Women's Day
In light of this year's International Women's Day on March 8, we want to draw attention to the risk of neglecting older women in the discourse on women's rights and in the recent campaigns around sexual victimisation.
On this year’s International Women’s Day the ICRH Gender and Violence Team wants to draw special attention to older women, a forgotten group in the fight against sexual violence. Ines Keygnaert and Anne Nobels published a Comment in The Lancet Global Health, in which they urgently call for increased attention to older women in research, policies, and health practices.
