Ms Souheila Abbedou

Visiting Professor

Souheila Abbeddou is an internationally experienced researcher with a robust foundation in international research and a proven track record in global health. Her experience encompasses coordinating technical and scientific activities, and she is known for her ability to solve complex problems in diverse situations. she actively mentor and guide several PhD students in their research endeavors and also deliver lectures in master's programs, including the Global Health master's program. Additionally, she is actively engaged in fostering collaborations in various global health-related themes.
As a guest professor, Souheila will support PhD students in finalizing their research while also nurturing their growth as researchers specializing in sexual and reproductive health. She will follow up with ongoing projects and initiatives. Additionally, Souheila will actively seek opportunities for our team in the fields of child, adolescent and maternal health both within and beyond Ghent University
