New project on patterns of healthcare utilization in Dadaab refugee camp

Prof. Olivier Degomme (ICRH-UGent) received the prestigious BOF starting grant from the University of Ghent in December 2015, to work on patterns of health care utilization among gender based violence survivors in Dadaab refugee camp, Kenya.

Prof. Olivier Degomme (ICRH-UGent) received the prestigious BOF starting grant from the University of Ghent  in December 2015, to work on patterns of health care utilization among gender based violence survivors in Dadaab refugee camp, Kenya. Dadaab is one of the world’s largest refugee camps. This project will make use of a game theory approach to better understand decision making patterns and the influence of social networks on health care decision making and utilization patterns.
