Flemish research and Science Sharing

OBJECTIVES

    To make an inventory of recent research (2000 - 2003) in/with or for developing countries
    To map the different fields of expertise
    To identify the principal actors (institutions and research groups)
    To formulate conclusions and recommendations to optimize the expertise in Flanders concerning development cooperation

ACTIVITIES

    Creation of a research antenna in ICRH
    Mapping of donors, research programs and administrations
    Developping an inventory of recent research (2000 - 2003) in/with or for developing countries
    Identification of principal actors. A questionnaire has been sent to 60 teams.
    State of the art of the concept "ontwikkelingsrelevantie" (developing pertinency)
    Formulation of conclusions and recommendations
