Ms Frances Vervaet

Frances Vervaet obtained her master's degree in law at UGent and has always been interested in human rights, constitutional rights and migration law. 
Moreover, she has a special interest in the topic of sexual violence and founded LEDA.collective, a collective dedicated to a safer nightlife in Ghent.  
Frances is conducting research on child-friendly procedures for children who are victims of sexual violence. 
She will work together with Saar Baert in the Gender & Violence team at ICRH, under the supervision of Professor Ines Keygnaert.
