Saar Baert holds a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences. After working for several years in psychosocial support in Belgium, she went abroad to work for the NGO Médecins Sans Frontières. For nine years, she focused on the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion interventions for patients infected with HIV and other chronic diseases. She joined ICRH in 2017 and now works with Prof. dr. Keygnaert on her PhD regarding the evaluation of a pilot study on sexual assault care centres in Belgium.
