Ms Lobke Bonte
Master's student in Nursing and Midwifery (Health and Care Research)
My name is Lobke Bonte, and I am a Master’s student in Nursing and Midwifery at Ghent University, specialising in Health and Care Research. I graduated as a midwife in 2024 from VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Bruges.
I recently started my internship at the International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH), where I will be involved for about 40 days spread across the academic year, under the supervision of Dr Anna Galle. During this period, I hope to deepen my understanding of research in sexual, reproductive, maternal, and newborn health. As I am still at the beginning of my professional journey, I am eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within an international research environment.
Outside my studies, I enjoy walking, practising Pilates, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Being with family and friends helps me recharge. I value curiosity, personal growth, and learning from others, both in my studies and in everyday life.
