Mr Davy Vanden Broeck
Visiting Professor

Davy Vanden Broeck holds a M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Antwerp. In 2007, he also obtained a PhD from the University of Antwerp in the field of molecular biology at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. Currently, Dr. Vanden Broeck is senior researcher at the ICRH Belgium, lecturer at the University of Nairobi and associated post-doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp. Furthermore, he has been involved in reproductive health research for over 5 years, both in Belgium and in Kenya. Dr. Vanden Broeck was member of the Senior Management of ICRH Kenya and was laboratory manager in ICRH Mombasa (Kenya).
His research focuses on human papilloma virus (HPV) and related cervical cancer. In this capacity, he has been involved in various projects and he has been the supervisor of PhD/MSc dissertations and responsible for a number of projects in the same field.
